I got my first check from Maryland Reprographics today. It was about a hundred after taxes. Pretty much what I make at McDonald's, but I worked less hours. If I make full-time, I'll be making more. I really wish Tom would stop procrastinating and hire me full-time. There's no reason for him not to. My dad said that if he doesn't get daytime help soon, he's walking. I'm not sure how motivated he is to actually do that, but that's what he said.

Well, I finished up Xenocide and have started Children of the Mind. Xenocide was great and, while it ended up with a few loose ends, I was glad about the surprises that were put in. Children will probably tie up those loose ends. I actually think that Children and Xenocide were originally planned as one book, but it got too lengthy and he split it up. Children is a short book, probably only paging about 1/2 to 2/3 of what Ender's Game, Speaker, and Xenocide paged each. It's looking well and has some interesting stuff. I hope to get through it by next week.

I've yet to finish watching the movie I wanted to watch. I'm about halfway through it, but I keep getting distracted. Plus, I still have to burn 4 CDs for my mom, 1 CD for a friend, and re-install some CDs into my computer since installing the new system. I've got to get myself on track here.
