Walking

Well, today, at about noon, the new Adult Happy Meal stuff came in. This new thing we're selling consists of a salad, a bottle of water, a pedometer, and a booklet. Well, a bunch of us grabbed up the pedometers and put them on ourselves. It's one of those "set and forget" things. Well, by 5:10 PM, when I got off, I had racked up 2057 steps. My mom wanted me to walk home, so I did. By the time I got home, I'd racked up 3252 steps. It's now showing 3274 steps. I'm planning to log the amounts I get each night in my journal.

I've heard it said that the average step is 2.5 feet. Well, so far I've walked 8195 feet today, which is over 27 football fields, if I had been walking in a straight line. It's amazing how much you walk without realizing it.
