Alright, this icon I got from
This icon is one I made with one of those icon generators that you see around. You see icons similar to this all around LiveJournal. I made this one for my character's posts on the (now-virtually-defunct) USS Hyperion sim (

There's not much to say about this icon. I made it in my small frenzy of taking movie screenshots, cropping them, and adding text captions. There's a whole bunch of them on my userpic page, and they're all available for anyone to take as needed. The only thing about this one is that I knew what I wanted to do with the icon, but after I uploaded it, I realized I didn't have much use for it. I was thinking I could use it if I had any reason to talk or comment about feminism, women's issues, and similar topics. Since I made it, I think I've used it twice. I think it's cool, but useless to me. Other people may find it useful. The source for this icon is the Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest trailer.
Ah. One of my favorites. This is another from my screenshot frenzy. The movie it's from is called AntiTrust. It's a great movie that's half geek, half thriller. This shot is from early on in the movie with the protagonist and his best friend. The text is what one of their teachers said to them in a class in reference to the "open source" idea. I use this icon when I have anything to say about computers or open source topics.
Another one of my favorites. This is a screenshot from the movie Revelation. It's the sign on the door of a friend of the main character. This friend has a Jack Russell terrier. I took this crop from the screenshot and used it as my avatar on the Sevilian Board, when I frequented it. I use it randomly, basically for random nonsense.
And now, icons chosen by
See above.
Another one from my frenzy. This is from Office Space, where Michael Bolton is looking up money laundering in the dictionary to try to get an idea on how to do it. I use this icon in instances where people seem purposely ignorant of things that they can easily find by searching.
Another one from the frenzy, also from Office Space. This is Samir Nagheenanajar backing off Michael Bolton with a bat so he can have a turn destroying the wretched printer. I use this icon when I think that people are trying to sugar-coat things for me, and I want to tell them that I can handle it.
